Fergus &/Or Geronimo
Due out August 7th (next week, ya turkeys!), Fergus & Geronimo have graciously streamed their entire second album on Sound Cloud. Much like their debut, Unlearn, Funky Was the State of Affairs follows the same blueprint of genre-mixing madness that is at once fun and funky, while also wildly experimental and worthy of deep studious listening. “Mothers of Invention” are the obvious influence, and they honor Zappa’s legacy well.
