Bobby Gillespie Forms One-Time Supergroup with Members of Sex Pistols, the Who.

Primed for a one-time appearance at London’s 1234 Shoreditch Festival on July 24th, Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie called upon bandmates Andrew Innes and Barrie Cadogan to join current Who touring drummer Zak Starkey (son of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr) and former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock to form Silver Machine. The band will do an all-covers performance, featuring some of their favorite songs from the likes of the MC5, the Creation, the Flamin’ Groovies, and the Chocolate Watch Band (among others).

A band of this magnitude only happens once, and, unfortunately, it is being ruled as a one-time performance.
